Last night feeding our daughter and getting her ready for bed, it all just hit me. This moment in time is so temporary but yet so very precious all in one. What an honor it is to be called Mama. Despite all of the overwhelming chaotic moments that are very trying; the around the clock feedings, continuous diaper changes, teaching and watching them learn new things, daily cleaning and keeping up with household tasks, and all the few and far in between things that a mother does throughout her days. We do it all through Christ who strengthens us. By His grace given to us, we are able to give to others.

What a blessing it is to be called Mama. My husband and I struggled with infertility for 12 long years and through adoption we now hold a beautiful baby girl in our arms all because of love, sacrifices, and The Almighty above! Most days are hard, but nothing compares to seeing the prayers you used to pray unfold and be answered before your very eyes. To God be the glory, always! Mama, you might be tired, stressed, pushed to your limits, or questioning if you are doing it all right. I would like to encourage you today to keep your sight on the things of above, cling to the hem of His garment, and no matter how hard the days are never loose your hope! Your work is kingdom work, all for His honor and glory! You cannot convince me no other way, but there is nothing like a praying mother. To be a Mother is to be a Warrior.

Let me pray for you today:

Dear Heavenly Father, I come before You in this very moment to pray over every mother reading this; whether she is just getting started in motherhood, raising teenagers, watching their grown children build their own lives, or being/becoming a grandmother. Lord I ask that You would touch her today. Give us hope, a word of encouragement, Lord bless our hard working hands in all that we do within our household. When the days are long and tiring, Lord I ask that You would surround us with Your divine love, grace, and mercy. Lord I ask that You would lead, guide, direct, and protect us all the days of our lives. Right now in this very moment, I praise You, Lord! Thank You for answering our prayers and giving us the desires of our hearts! To God be the glory, always! Thank You, Jesus! Lord, I ask and pray these things in Your Mighty and Heavenly name, in the name of Jesus!
